Platt and squad,
I see now where you are coming from when you say that life driven by
Quality created the universe. If we consider the universe to be a living
entity then you would be correct. I see no big disagreement in our
positions.
I regard the weather and other inorganic manifestations of the Earth's
squirmings such as earthquakes, volcanos, and such like as being quality
driven. It is true that the results of the table of elements are pretty
well stabilized by now. However, we still cannot say for sure that there
not happenings in the universe that we are not aware of. I just feel that
we are still embedded in all four of the levels and all four are still
contributing to our individual DQs which result in our individual static
latches.
I regard Quality as having come into existence at the time of the
beginning and as being the force for Dharma, or value or Good in the
totality of the universe including the inorganic, biological, ssocial and
intellectual phases. According to our present understanding the initial
range of possibilities in the beginning universe included the energy, the
hydrogen atom and the helium atom. working with this limited range of
possibility Quality pushed the universe in the direction of greater
complexity. with every step in complexity a greater range of posssibilities
became available. This eventually resulted in the inorganic universe as we
understand it today as well as life, society, and the intellectual plane.
If we regard the universe as a living entity right from the start then we
can speak of inorganic life as well as biological life. If we further
regard Qulality as a driving force for life then we can speak of life (or
quality) having created everything, including the inorganic universe as
well as biological life. I still regard the inorganic universe as the
substrate from which we sprang and on which we still depend. I think that
the entire universe, including all life and us) still contributes to our
human Dynamic Quality. I view the thing as an interconnected whole. We need
it all.
I agree that it is sometimes difficult to see the movement toward higher
morality in society today but if we take the long view it is easy to see
the increase in value over the long haul. We no longer kill and eat each
other, we no longer commonly enslave each other.
society is surely moving toward higher value even if it is difficult to see
sometimes.
Got to go to Tahlequah and get a sack of cement to make a potters wheel
and restock our liquor cabinet. Tell me what you disagree with. Ken
