Ken,
The Navy Pier is now a tourist attraction. It has a mall, cruise tours, a
huge ferris wheel, and an IMAX theater. I doubt the Navy is even connected
to it any more (Though I did see a few harbor patrol boats at the 'old pier'
beside the new.. And I don't even know where the college is. I haven't seen
any Pirsig memorials , but I did see some intriguing modern art statues and
a spiffy lumberjack show.
Such is progress.
How are you and Mary doing? Still hot down there in Texas?
