i would just like to point out how similar this sounds, to me, anyway, to
the bible's story of adam and eve. before life, there was god (Quality). in
this state there was only good, and value. god created life, then man, thus
interrupting the unimpeded flow of life...
it is a curious connection.
then again, perhaps they are more similar than we might think; both ways fo
explaining the universe, each more efficient to certain epople than the
other. neither "real" in the sense that they would have existed without the
people to think of them, but each becoming real as people conceive of
them....
i suppose all this is my long winded way of saying: we should be careful not
to confuse the MOQ with reality. the MOQ is but a useful tool; we should not
confuse it with the ultimate reality we try to comprehend. in this sense,
the story of adam and eve, and the MOQ of quality, differ only in the words
thy choose....
