I started out by printing and bindering (is that a word?) all the mail.
That didn't last long. I use Netscape to read the mail, and since I've
figured out that I can sort by author, date, or subject and can file
letters in a Lila Squad drawer, it's been a little more sane. Netscape
also lets you search thru mail for individual words. It is easy to mark
mail for later, which is a necessity for me.
Netscape is free. The only price to the user is the price of joining the
socially-accepted mainstream of computer users. ;-)
Disadvantages (from my point of view): Netscape doesn't run on Amiga
computers. (I think only PC and Macintosh) That's why I bought a PC, so
we could be "compatible". After a eight-month delay with all kinds of
glitches, we are, I guess.
One of Netscape's other capabilities is the ability to send in "html"
format, which allows formatting (bold, italic, indenting, etc) and
graphics. It seems to me that using more advanced formatting might make
communication clearer, and that could only be good.
I don't know anything about Pegasus, though. If you'd like me to try, I
can.
