Another 2 cents from David Lind: I don't think we can. Regardless
of your spiritual bent - there are many things we take on faith
everyday. And it's entirely possible the world only exists because we
believe it does. The quote about faith like a mustard seed keeps
coming to mind. I think we have in this life what we choose
(consciously or unconsciously) and that which we believe in. If you
believe an aspirin a day will help keep your chances of having a heart
attack low - it probably will. And vice versa. Our beliefs/faith
mold what and who were are/seem to be.
