I am afraid that I am rather more solution focused these days. I don't
care so much for the right answer as an appropriate, workable
solution. YMMV
Apologies if you felt particularly attacked by my comments. I do see
much of what you post as tolling (as in the Jargon File definition) of
it. That's not to say I have a problem with what you post. I,
occasionally, have a problem with the replies your posts generate.

I hadn't considered your motivation. Just that a lot of your posts are
rather contentious in a very blatant way. Often the rally's are quite
entertaining and bandwidth is cheap.

Well trolling for newbies was always considered fair game in the
groups I followed. Sadly the newer nature of the net means that, on
most forums, *most* people are what we would have called newbies...
