Quite like the 'pedestrian analogy'!
As regards refusing to 'go with the flow'... - isn't that just typical of a
human? - instead of just getting on with eating and reproducing, we have to
get up to all manner of things, and invent the most torturous routes from A
to B! (I'm not complaining, mind)
Seriously, though, my wife always notices that, if a news story has been
running awhile, all news services assume that everyone is fully up-to-date.
Consequently, background 'how did things get to this stage' information is
never supplied; that's 'history' rather than 'news', I suppose.
In the context of the MOQ, to maintain this sort of 'history of the
discussions / ideas' would require someone to execute an editorial function
and maintain an area of a website specifically for that purpose; a sort of
web-based journal. Time, money, and the maintenance of quality, would seem
to be the main barriers.....
