Having just embarked upon a law degree I have lacked the opportunity to
follow every thread going on on this list.
However, one thing has come up recently in my studies that I would
appreciate some MoQ perspectives upon. (I apologise if this has been
raised before).
It is the basic question of where does justice reside?
Is it purely social values?
Or does it now also incorporate intellectual values?
If it does not, is this just another instance of the intellectual level
unable to break free of the social level?
Is it dynamic, static or both?
As far as I can see (and maybe I am looking at this the wrong way round),
justice cannot exist without society. But likewise, a society is
meaningless without some notion of justice. Is that getting hung up on the
S/O peg?
thank you for your thoughts.

"our society never recognises truly great men, only those who are great
enough to lead but not so great as to vanish over the horizon" - Raymond
Chandler (somewhat paraphrased, but it got me thinking about the static
and the dynamic in the world)
