What is Metaphysics? A good summary from Nashville, TN:

I don't buy your argument that I'm slicing and dicing the art that is
Lila. Lila is first and foremost about a metaphysics. If you think
creating strawmen, being contradictory, misrepresenting science, and
leaving things vague or unexplained in Lila is immune to criticism because
it is an expression of art which paints a sometimes unflattering portrait
of an imperfect man struggling for the good, then I disagree. This
kind of thing worked beautifully in ZMM, but it has no place in a
presentation of a metaphysics. These things only serve to mislead and
confuse what is intended to be a serious doctrine.
I say(lovingly):
Screw you, Glenn!! Your axioms need to be questioned! What are your axioms?
1. That logical consistency is necessary for truth!
2. That language is necessary to express Metaphysical Truth!
Bah Humbug! ( I think I must sound like Roger. Where is Roger?)
There are two kinds of logic: deductive an inductive. Of these, deductive is
what we most often see in what passes for Philosophy these days. Deductive
logic is always based on axioms.(Axiom?)
Axioms are statements that are accepted without proof. Where were you during
this part of ZMM? No logical system can be completely consistent! (Godel?)
If truth must be logically consistent, and no logical system is consistent,
then there can be no truth. Fuck truth!!!
