this is my first post everyone, just to let you konw. ive been reading all
of the stuff for about a week now. anyway, personally i think zamm and lila
have an esoteric appeal- just simply knowing that you can see the world in
some way that not very many other people can. a textbook organized into
chapters i think would take away from the book's artistic appeal. pirsig
chose this way to present his ideas and i think that's how they should be
taken. when he was talking about the divisions of the moq, didn't he mention
something about the highest level being 'a code of art?' That's why i think
he presented the moq as just that- a novel, a code of art with the theme of
moq as highest pattern of evolution maybe. thanks for reading this.
