Hi Barritt,
Yup, you are on my wavelength.
And the first one i believe to give it thinking room?
How will software exploit intellect?
I expect the enhancing process will raise human values.
Value patterns exist in relationships (and ultimately in relation to DQ);
therefore all relationships may be rearranged to enhance the dissolution of
individuality?
I don't know about you? But my Western up bringing has exposed, and to a
certain degree integrated me into a predominantly 'I' centred culture.
The very anticipation of giving up my individuality horrifies me.
But a dynamic future generation with no such static patterns may relish the
new opportunities offered by such outlandish submergence?
Once occupied in a stream of multi-sensory enhanced, fractally generated
wonderment, fifth level may shape virtual experiences in its own form. Once
they live there, they will never wish to escape?
Escape to being human, all too human? ;)
The upshot may be organic brains utilised to create, in a transpersonaly
enhanced net.
Intellectual values may more resemble pure art in such an environment?
I enjoy this speculation, but i have to say that my interests are more
concerned with exploring the MOQ.
It can be fun though? ;)
And i feel there could be a great novel in here some where?
All the best,
Squonk.

Squonk,
Interesting thought - Software as a fifth level, though not in the computer
sense, at least not strictly/literally. This leads me to wonder how this
"Software" would then exploit Intellect. Curious thought...
