MD Systems of value

I think static patterns of value exist within systems of value. You may call
them "world views" in SOM terms. They are the context where static patterns of
value exist. A table is a static pattern of value that has a place in my system
of value, as well as yours. "Green" and "blue" are static patterns of value
that, reportedly, had no place in some native american systems of value.

Today, 12th september 2001, I can't help considering that what is good in some
system of value belonged to the unthinkable of *my* system of value until
yesterday. Now that it made its way to the thinkable realm, the outcome is that
it extended my concept of evil. The fact that evil beyond imagination might be
perceived as "good" by someone is mind blowing. Not that I did not "know" it
before, but experiencing it like this is still mind blowing.

I hope all MOQ members and their loved ones are safe.

Andrea
