It was inspired as a 'challenge/rebuttal' to Native Son's
illustration he showed us back in July :

I see it as highly dynamic - with each faction and the continuum
between them constantly shifting on the 'surface skin' of the
illustration, each element affecting each other in delicate balance
and interplay (captured here in a static moment in time)
I see the vortex in the middle as something akin to entropy.
