Platt,
Would you say that the vast majority of Americans living in the U.S. agree
with your position and support the Israelis? If so, does that mean
they sanction military attacks on Palestinian civilians? Do you consider
such
attacks immoral?
You have to see the big picture, this is a war. Both sides use whatever it
takes to win. One side has attack helicopters and tanks because of the US
military support, the other side has nothing, if the US had supported the
Palestinians, it would be the other way around.
I don't blame the US, but I can see why others would. I don't want any more
to happen that's all. The US should be vying for peace in the middle east,
which it has in recent history, and should sanction every one who thwarts
that peace process. But it should also equally condemn all killings of
innocents, distinguish between social giants (Israel, Palestine and the
various terrorist factions within Palestine) and not pick sides in a messy
war like this. Israel has been taking advantage of it's immunity at the
security council because of US support and is not seeking peace. Peace in
that region, combined with punishing those responsible for the 9/11 attacks
is the only way to reduce their occurrence.
        Rob

Would you say that the vast majority of Muslims living in the U.S. agree
with your position and support the Palestinians? If so, does that mean
they sanction terrorist attacks on Israel civilians? Do you consider such
attacks immoral?

U.S. responsible for Saudi Arabia's repressive regime? How is this
possible? Hasn't that country been ruled by kings under Islamic law for
a hundred years or more?

Incidentally, there's an article about militant Islam in America at:

Not a positive picture I'm afraid.
