I agree with what you have written on points of order. Every bit of it.

Pirsig supplies a common set of concepts that we can use to build upon. Many
here dramatically distort him to fit into their views. You and a few others
keep them honest (I used to do this a few years ago too, but have drifted off
from that approach.) You don't just discuss Lila, you apply lila.

I too agree that relativism and centralized utopian schemes are the
antithesis of the MOQ.

PS -- In general where I part with Pirsig -- and you know I do in some areas
-- I try to do so consciously and constructively, rather than by dismissing
what he has written. (Bodvar is another one that parts consciously and
intentionally from Pirsig, though in a much more respectful and reverent way
than I)
