I agree. Any truth or quality as it relates to the world (that which exists
outside one's mind) is in the deeds and the application of one's thoughts.
When one decides to kill unknown lives, where is the meaning?

Yeah, killing 4000 innocent people to make a point to the world is a much
better way of changing people's minds than talking to them intelligently and
letting them decide for themselves (the Pirsig approach). Come on man, what
are you thinking? The "the system is all messed up, lets start the
revolution" attitude seems to be consistently there, even if people have all
the freedom society can afford them and are relatively happy. The advantage
of a free society is that people with that attitude are half assed at best.
The people needed to orchestrate such a revolution, the big picture
thinkers, see the goodness in the system and don't fight it.
That freedom is what these terrorist see as degenerate, they cannot see the
value in it. The taliban didn't let people with revolutionary ideas live in
peace, much less Christian or any other religion. Think of the alternative,
and then decide. Am I better off dead than in our society? I'd say no. That
seems to be Osama's message to me. It's a pretty ambiguous message, what is
he saying to you? Maybe that's the brilliance of it, it so ambiguous that
everybody can make their own message out of it. Even right wing Christians
are saying that it's a sign that we need prayer in schools. What's up with
that?
Rob

Is he right about what?? That the US shouldn't be bombing Iraq, maybe.
That killing inocent people will change the way the US thinks/operates,
absolutly not.

Shock, horror etc.!...?
