Hi Horse:

Thanks for the heads up on Struan. I was not astute enough to see his
love affair with linguistic analysis although I should have suspected it.
Most academics in humanities departments these days are post-
modernists whose main claim to fame is the absurd belief that it's a
fact there are no facts. I shall take your caution about engaging in
debate with Struan to heart and restrain myself for--as you say--his
modus operandi is to hit and run, flinging insults over his shoulder as
he toddles back to his academic sanctuary.
