TO GRAHAM:
I am a field with many dogmatic scientists that sometimes in my "crusade"
against them I become a little dogmatic myself. I had pretty made up my
response at the first part of your email and the rest is what Pirsig described
as the "Cleveland harbor effect" in Lila. (ironically i am presently living
in the Cleveland area)

So after reading your email again I would like to apologize.
"Information sources that reduce uncertainty to zero are probably very
rare."

Your answer sounds "statistically safe" to me and I can't completely digest it
but I don't have a better way to express it so I will go take some Pepto and
live with it.
Platt already handed me the dunce cap for proposing there are no sources I
will not go down that road again but in trying to guess the 'number' of
sources I think picking a number out of a hat is good as any guess of mine.
