MD Good is already a noun

Although I like how Marco ended this topic- "good is a noun. better is a verb"

I just wanted to add one note to Rick.

Rick:In fact, this is basically what the 'Good is already noun' thread was
discussing. I have put forth the contention that Pirsig has changed/replaced
the meaning of the word 'good', rather than deepened/broadened it

Erin: Although I understand your point I still think that this was your
expectation and not Pirsigs. I have only read both of his novels in the last 6
months so I thought maybe I had missed somewhere where he claimed to do this.
In an email posted in Lila's Child I found what I was looking for..

Pirsig:

“ The material for the MOQ is not something I invented out of thin air. It has
been lying dormant within the culture for centuries. I have mined probably
less than one per cent of what is there. The best readers will pay minimal
attention to what I have found and maximal attention to what I have missed.
That’s where the excitement is.”
