-Yes, for the last time, this is MY contention.... I believe Pirsig said he
did one thing (expanded), but actually did another (replaced). As nobody
who answered this thread was able to show how Pirsig's good-noun is related
to the good-adj, I stand by this assessment for now.
Pirsig:
" The best readers will pay minimal attention to what I have found...."
-That really doesn't sound like the hallmark of any 'best readers', does
it???
"...and maximal attention to what I have missed."
-Of course, how could we know what he's missed until we're clear on what
he's found?
