MD Good is already a noun

Yes rick I completely agree that Pirsig's good (n) is different from the
dictionary's good (n). A reconstruction of a concept doesn't have to just use
the materials provided by Webster though. I also completely agree that the
letter string g-o-o-d is arbitrary and can be replaced with ?, X, s-m-u-r-f,
or any other symbol but what the symbols represent are not abitrary to me.
Someone seeking quality is different from someone seeking smurfness; as
different as seeking wholeness compared to seeking schizophrenia.

rick: Wait.... Yes!!! That's it!!! That's the homerun. Over the fences....
For Pirsig, 'Good' is a proper name!!!!!!!

Erin: i really don't know whether to agree or disagree with this, you have my
head spinning on this one. (if it just a slam at someone overating their
wholeness, let me ask what is more important than seeking quality in your
life? )

Cheers,
Erin
