I see where you're confused...
    The 'intellectual' of the pre-intellectual/post-intellectual split is
different than 'Intellectual' as used to refer those static patterns that
trump biology. You've got it right when you say 'sound or noise is
something many sentient entities experience'.
    Now take the next step... "DQ is the pre-intellectual cutting edge of
experience (LILA p133)." That is, all 'experience' is always in the wake
DQ. 'Experience' and all its derivatives (like sound, noise, light etc) are
ALWAYS post-intellectual.

Understanding this relationship of DQ and experience is the key to
unraveling the MOQ.
