religion scholar. Its called "CLEANSING THE DOORS OF PERCEPTION; The
Religious Significance of Entheogenic Plants and Chemicals".
however there is something to be said re: aesthetic/spiritual or drug
induced experience, for these can be moments where time and space and
differentiation (ie all static patterns) are lost in one snesation of
wholeness. i have a book called 'lsd, man and society' filled with
psychiatric case studies - in the US in the 50s and 60s - that describes
this in detail.
