Bo,
I often feel Pirsig comes close to saying that reason was a mistake?
The MOQ may hopefully 'widen the river' and help us to include much that is
currently outside of rationality?
To this end i wish to begin using the term Time as a synonym for DQ.
Our language may be laced with SOM, but it is also laced with temporal
qualification.
If we begin to utilise the temporal qualification as a pointer towards DQ,
then suddenly our language becomes value centred?
(See my Metaphysics of Quality time contributions?)
I should like to quote David Sylvian here if i may?
'We've drunk from this well spring too long, too long,
Dividing the hours to measure the time.
We've lived with this heart ache too long, too long,
Numbering what's yours; what's mine.
We've harboured this sadness so long,
Nursing a voice to sing us our songs.
Raising a voice to sing our songs.'
All the best,
Squonk.
