Hey Dave and Marco,
I just wanted to make a quick comment....
> MARCO
> Aren't you now meaning that the skill of creating "concepts" is
biological, and that it is by means of these concepts that we build firstly
society and then, eventually, intellect? I'd like it, 'cause it l would
mean that we don't need anymore to assume MOQ-intellect as the
"patternmaker". Pattern making (at least social and intellectual patterns)
as a biological activity would also square with Pirsig's statement that only
living beings can evolve.
RICK
Pattern making as a biologicial acitivity would also fit nicely with notion
that MOQ is empirical and holds that all knowledge is rooted in the senses.
Somthing PIrsig tells us explicitly in LILA.
