Hey Horse,

HORSE
Something can be absolutely true by definition (a bachelor is an unmarried
man) or by logical derivation (X=X) but that's about as far as we can go
with absolutes.

RICK
Agreed. 'Absoluteness' is merely a smokescreen for tautology.

HORSE
Our knowledge of the world is incomplete and thus provisional so to make a
statement about it's nature in absolute terms is non-sensical.

RICK
Agreed. All we've got is handful of sand off of an endless landscape (ZMM
p69). What could possibly less 'absolute' than that?

Go to the head of the class.
