PLATT:>Yet, another blowing of thick smoke.
ERIN: Speaking of blowing smoke, "A cigarette is the difference between life
and death but what direction?" Don Delillo
PLATT: You have yet to refute the many examples of absolute truth I have given
in previous posts ranging from insignificant statements in LILA to the horror
of the Holocaust. If you want to stand up in court and deny the destruction of
the Trade Towers or, like Erin, the inevitability of death, be my guest. I
don't think a judge will be amused.
ERIN: Why did you keep picking these tragic examples, are you trying to reach
us through as you repeatedly like to say "soup of sentiments"?
Saying death is inevitable and saying death is absolute are two different
things by the way.
PLATT: Then there is absolutely no point in continuing this particular
>discussion which has gone on far too long anyway.

ERIN: I think I have tired of this topic too. I liked how Angus put it that
instead of barking at the problem just move on to the solution. I will miss
your "muss es sein" tirades though they were very amusing at times. I am a
little too cynical to think that you will really stop throwing comments about
the imaginary MoQer who argues "there are no absolutes" but hopefully I will
be better at just ignoring it.
P.S.
What if it is a hung jury?
