i agree that chalmers and dennett's approaches are both fruitless. i guess the point i was getting at is that the MoQ sorts chalmers out by dissolving the 'hardest problem' whilst reinforcing the irreducibilty and ontological priority of experience (Consciousness/Quality). it seems to me that this neat solution may be a possible entry route for the MoQ into the academic mainstream.
granted the dissolution of the hard problem requires a shift in perspective - and this is never a quick and easy thing - but this is the whole point isn't it?
