Okay I think I've warmed up to the idea that dharmakaya light is out of the
normal range of light. So is that a different frequency?

    My knowledge of optical physics is very limited. I don't think it would
be a good idea for me to speculate into that territory. It's better left to
somebody with some expertise in such matters.
    Pirsig suggests that the light evades empirical verification mainly
because of impracticality, not impossibility. So the difference would have
to be something explainable (and at least theoretically verifiable) with
some kind of science.
    I argued in a post to Glenn that cats can see the light because they all
have increased perception of light and are 'nonobjective'. Perhaps the key
to this one can be found in medical case studies of people with naturally
increased sensitivity to light.
