thought Pirsig's experience was intense because he made so many references to
William Blake. But I agree with a lot that you said. Do you think that it is
necessary for an "initiation" into mysticism to be intense? Pirsig talked
about Lila's intense struggle to enter another level and (I am not putting
mysticism as another level) but but going from intellectual frame of mind to a
mystic frame of mind then do you think that intially entering mysticism has to
be intense?
