I think what Maher taken in context was completely reasonable. But one thing
that I thought that wasn't known at the time is that they did not know what
the mission was- Osama kept them blind to the purpose. They would probably
have done it anyway but still.

But DMB nor I was trying to glorify terrorism. We all know religous fanaticism
is not something to admire. But his point is still valid that to their
country they are not terrorists, they are the heros and we appear as the
terrorists.
It is not "right" for such a poor country to hate a rich one, but I think it
iwe can understand how it happens. If you really want terrorism to go away you
can't ignore how we look to these people
