Hello Rick & Rasheed

ERIN: I think Rasheed is right when he says " that by successfully capturing
a criminal, his ability to commit treason is gone and he is no longer any kind
of threat."
I think when Pirsig says complex he is just saying that it is not a simple yes
or no to it being okay to kill a criminal. He says you need to look at the
situations individually at evaluate whether the threat is real or not.
I can't really think of any MOQ argument for the capitial punishment.
What about when the person wants to die, such as letting the prisoner commit
suicide if he rather be dead then a life of imprisonment or assisted suicide
in terminally ill patients who are suffering. Do you know what MOQ would say
about that?
