ROD: On a personal note, I have never met an American I have not got on with,
I
even studied in Chicago, and I love your attitude to life, but I truly
despise corporate America!!
There will, always be this distancing between individuals and their
governments/economies, but please don't take it personally.
PLATT: I take no personal offense at your "despising corporate America" at
all.
I think on balance that corporations have done more good than harm,
especially compared to what governments have done, but that's for
another day.
ERIN: I think a major complaint is that there is not enough separation
between corporate America and American government.
I wanted to ask about people's opinion about how much influence corporate
America REALLY has in the government.
Here is one opinion. It seemed a little extreme but it is hard for me to tell.
