Right. Interaction leads to competition, competition leads to evolution.

    I discuss metaphysics on a daily basis with Bo in Norway, Marco in
Italy, Erin in Ohio... Participants from all over the world are putting
their ideas into the marketplace everyday, in this very forum, right before
our eyes and creating patterns of intellectual value that would be otherwise
unattainable. And who knows how many have been learning with us without
participating (you lurkers out there)?
    The promise of the internet is far from being realized. But the
potential is exciting. An instantaneous and unlimited medium for the free
and universal exchange of ideas... that's the dream anyway.
