the end of the 'job' era is approaching and this is good (the end of 'wage slavery')

it is about 'growing up' and taking more responsibility for your life. the boss-employee relationship is qualitatively not much different from that of the teacher-student; parent-child; priest-congregation model. let's face it we know employment is better than unemployment(social integration is better than social islation), but jobs are the bane of most people's lives. this paradox will be resolved through individuals acting collectively outside of present political-economic structures.

a move to a less specialised and structured idea of what work is, is pretty good for a person's arete: responsibility and versatility are key attributes of the homeric hero but definitely not middle management.
