I agree with Dan here. The test for truth that the MoQ accepts is logical
consistancy, empirical validity and eloquence. The greatest thing about
the MoQ i think is that it doesnt even hold itself to be true, merly an
approximation, a guess that is only true because deep down inside we feel
it is. If you want an objective verification of a universe without
humanbeings, well, go talk to God because no human philosopher has ever
come close, not even pirsig. As i see it, the MoQ says if you want to
believe in a big bang, if it helps with your calculations or makes your
universe one single comprehensible beautiful expression of quality, then go
for it. But the "laws of nature" and the MoQ didnt exsist (floating around
without mass or energy) untill someone thought it up. The MoQ is a word, a
concept, a tool for grasping the incomprehensible, not the Truth itself.
And im glad the MoQ admits this of itself.
