I am not really in contact with this teacher anymore so i can't ask him.
I don't recall him saying the only thing left to do I think he just suggested
it. I think you and I went around in circles talking about absolute truth and
don't want to drudge that cycle again.
My position is that we are all working towards absolute truth even if we are
UNCERTAIN if it actually exists. There is no contradiction in this
position. For you who "knows" absolutes OR for me who is uncertain about them.
So you repeatedly try to put me up as a contradictory fool but each time you
do you come across to me as egotistical fool.
I enjoyed when Angus mentioned his dislike of the title of "the theory of
everything". I had a good laugh at the title when I first came across it --my
first thought was "wow in only a couple of hundred pages what's next "The
Meaning of Life" in a 3 page pamphlet.
But I do appreciate Wilber's ATTEMPT to grasp the whole. I dislike the
specialization that is so prevalent.
His title and your repeated attempt to make my stance sound foolish stinks of
hubris to me.
