Hi David,
I would first ask myself what makes me think I qualify
as this guy's (for want of a better word) guru. Do I
want his life to be happier, or do I want someone with
whom I can argue my current philosophical standpoint,
or both or neither? Do I have anything against
gratuitous sex?
I then might ask the guy "Are you any happier?" ...
with a cheeky, inquisitive look on my face.
André
