Just more feelings ...
At present, ignoring any ritual baggage, I think MoQ
and Taoism are philosophically singing from the same
song sheet. I like Tao because of its simplicity and
lacks "levels". The to-me arbitrary MoQ levels
(Intellect, Biology etc) seem to provide a means for
chatting about an a priori undifferentiated reality,
and trying to make sense of the world.
The essential nature of Quality, Tao and Zen's "the
void" etc is that they cannot be intellectualised
because they are word/idea/notion/concept etc
transcendent.
The MoQ introduces "Biology, Intellect, Molecules and
Chaos" as arbitrary objects born out of so-called
classical "truth". Yes ... these terms make
philosophical discussion possible, and yet at the same
time ... to me at least, empty. There is no biology,
intellect, nor molecules which are real ... they are
emphemeral thoughts of no permanence nor substance.
