If the "the idea of the MoQ" is "based on cloudy and confused thinking"
it sure wasn't mine. Would you please point me to where, in any of
Pirsig's works or comments, he makes any indication that the MoQ's
social and intellectual levels "emerged simultaneously" and "coevolved".
I seriously doubt if you will find any. What he does say and argue in
many places is the social level emerged, evolved, and dominated for a
very long historical period of time before the intellectual level
emerged. And that the intellectual level is only now struggling to
dominate the social, but it has not completely won the struggle.
So while I may agree that your interpretation is more reasonable or
closer to what "really" happened, it is just not what Pirsig proposes,
or not MoQ.
