Does anyone have Bob's phone number? Maybe we could just call and ask him.
"Hi, this is a conference call from the Lila Squad. What up with purpose?"
Not that he would necessarily have "the truth," but at least he could provide
a clear argument that those interested in MoQ could sink their teeth into.
The discussion on this topic has been going on a long time, and maybe the
reason it's been going on so long is that Bob didn't present his views
clearly in the first place, even though he had "the answer."
And even if he didn't have "the answer" at the time he wrote Lila, perhaps
over a decade later he does have something to say that would help keep us
from spinning around and around like possibly purposeful electrons around a
possibly purposeful proton . . .
By the way, my name's Jock (yes, that's really my name--it's Scottish), and
I'll be your new member today.
