Dear Rod,
You asked 18/8 23:27 +0100:
"How does our subconscious react to quality?"
I think we'd better rephrase that as: How do we react to quality experienced
subconsciously?
I don't see why the answer is difficult: Subconsciously (with unmotivated
behavior) of course.
Like: "How does a tree react to quality?" It simply reacts on its own level.
Whether we assume it to be conscious of, 'prehend' or in whatever way be
'aware' of 'quality' does not really matter. Something has quality for the
tree (for the stability and versatility of the patterns of values that
sustain it) and it can be seen to behave accordingly. That's all.
With friendly greetings,
Wim
