I'm sorry you feel that way and will respectfully withdraw from further
discussion with you on this subject since it's apparently causing you
some distress. These discussions should be fun, not "exasperating."
When they become fun no longer, it's time to withdraw.

I'm grateful for the open and friendly tone of our debate up to this point
thank you for your yeoman efforts in explaining Rorty's philosophy. I
think his basic idea about truth being infinitely malleable depending on
time and place and whatever pressure group happens to hold power at
the moment to be extremely dangerous to individual liberty. Obviously
you disagree, but that's fine. So long as we can agree to disagree
without physical recrimination, such as forcing one to sit on a hot stove,
all will be well. (-:
