These changes in mankind occur at the collective consciousness and that we
are all, to one extent or another, Playing our role in relationship to the
others in that collective. Some will progress faster as individuals
perpetuating these changes but it happens within the collective. I have
argued that the 2 boys in the Columbine shootings were probably more in touch
with the collective and their actions, in part, were a msg to society that
these changes about the relationship between athletics and academics is
wrong. Good has come from their actions in that there is a much more
pronounced awareness of these problems throughout our education system.
