Hi Squad,
I first want to complement the Morality-writers on the great job they're doing. The morality-
discussion has really took off now.
Jonathan began the discussion with a great statement:
> Morality is allowing potential (which I identify with DQ) to be realized to the maximal
> and BEST extent.
I would like to add the following:
a) morality of static patterns
- everything that exists has value and is moral
- the (degree of) morality of the static pattern is determined by the potential the pattern has in letting DQ be realized to the maximal and BEST extent.
Important factor in this degree is the stability of the pattern (SQ), because a more stable pattern
(like I stated before: a static pattern that is able to repeat itself longer in time) has more
possibility to contribute to higher DQ than a lower pattern.
b) morality of the forming of static patterns (events)
What results from the former (a) is that the degree of morality of the forming of a static pattern
is determined by the potential of the event to form a static pattern that can contribute to letting DQ be realized to the maximal and BEST extent.
Time
An event happens in the continuum of time. From the event's point of view, it has a certain
possibility to contribute to DQ being realized to the best extend. Sometimes it's optimum in
contribution is within a year, sometimes it takes several generations.
When we (humans) look at the morality of an event, we look at a certain moment in time. The
degree of morality of an event is the possibility that DQ, as a consequence of this event,
prevails in the end in this continuum. I think the (degree of) morality of the real and fictive events
that are submitted, must be viewed in this perspective.

About the other discussion
Xtco writes
>The discussion has begun to branch between same-level morality , and morality

>seems much clearer?..at least in comparison.
I don't think there is really such a thing as inter- and intra-level morality. Morality is a
continuum, just like quality and value. The 4 levels are the more important static patterns in this
continuum because they represent the big steps among the small steps, in the evolution towards higher DQ. For humans they are a good tool to make moral judgements and decisions.
Hope to have made some sense.
