Kevin,

Thanks for jumping in!

I would really really like to get some closure on this subject. Unfortunately,
I'm still not there yet. I would like to draw you (or anyone else) in with a
question....

In being moral, can knowledge of Pirsig's levels compensate for inexperience?
When?

Please think of it this way. Who is in the best position to answer moral
questions? You or I -- armed with Pirsig's philospohy? Or someone with a free
mind who is more sensitive and intimate with certain aspects of the issue. By
a free mind, I mean no insecurity, denial, or desire for truth to be a certain
way. (I assume that the other person equivalent to you or I in intelligence,
education and so forth).

My answer is unconditionally the other guy...
