Hi Roger and Magnus

I would have to go back and re read what I said before as I can never be
sure if what I said was really what I said. Does anyone else have that
problem? I would have perhaps put it that "experience is being in the stream
of the Quality Event" if I was to go in the direction Magnus seems to be
going with this. I see what you are saying, Magnus, but I sense that it
leads to something very like the notion of Einstein's description of time to
a group of carpenters. While this is a very high intellectual value, the
Quality Event is more. There is a spector of this more-ness in each of the
little quality events that make up the totality of who we are. The Quality
Event could perhaps be said to be that sense of unity.

Magnus, when you say "Experience is QEs which creates
patterns...", Quality Events, plural, I see, like Einstein described, a
clock with a clock behind it and one behind it and one behind it and so on
and on. (Each one of these clocks could be said to be a steady stream of
quality events.) Then Bohr came along and (might have) said, now wait just a
minute, Al... If we are focusing only upon the clock, it becomes the only
Quality Event that there is and we are unable to say what is happening with
any other clock that might be lurking behind our Quality Event clock on the
wall. This threw Einstein into a tizzy and he battled with Bohr over this
repeatedly but failed to prove that Bohr was incorrect, though Bohr turned
things around and proved that they were BOTH correct!

Perhaps this is a typo, perhaps not, but I could agree with what you first
said, that "Experience is the stream of QE's producing static
patterns,subjects and
objects" if you mean it to mean Quality Event singular. It might be better
put as "the stream of QE". I like that! It's got a nice ring to it! :)

While the differences in opinion are seemingly small, the complexities
underlying those differences are enormous. But that's what makes things
interesting! Who wants to agree on everything anyway?

What do you mean by "relative"?

I will leave that for those more qualified than I to decide.

Best wishes,
