In support of Kevin:
"Strictly speaking, the creation of any metaphysic is an immoral act
since it's a LOWER FORM OF EVOLUTION, intellect, trying to devour a
HIGHER mystic one." pg457
"(insanity) and (religious mysticism)...both integrated into reason by
the MOQ." pg432
"...occurs deliberately in a mystic retreat is a natural human process
called dhyana..."meditation". Just as mystics traditionally seek
monasteries and asrams and hermitages as retreats in to isolation and
silence..." pg429
Anti-5thLevelMystics MUST answer the first and third quotes. If
mystics don't follow "patterns of value", then in each culture they
are something completely different, of which "mystic" is an
innappropriate term. It's not. Mysticism has certain morals and values
just like the other levels.
I think the problem is that the SEEDS of the next level have/are being
sown, but it is so young that we have trouble delineating it.
And listen:
"Both lunatics and mystics have freed themselves from the conventional
static intellectual patterns of their culture. The only difference is
that the lunatic has shifted over to a private static pattern of his
own, whereas the mystic has abandoned all static patterns in favor of
pure Dynamic Quality." -pg427
Ok - So a "mystic" is NOT the patterns (nor is 'I' or 'man'...) and
'he' or 'she' is NOT DQ itself. So what the hell is a mystic? Listen.
I really think we have a problem with the definition of "experience"
and "experiencer". Soul.
Can someone please explain to me what "abandons" "chooses" "wills
freely" "follows" "turns" "values" "shifts" etc... from static
patterns to Dynamic Quality? It's not the patterns, and it's not DQ.
So what?
Am I a Platypus?
rich
In search of SUBJECTIVITY - not of socially/intellectually patterned
SOM subjectivity, but that which is aware, which watches the patterns
happen in "my" daily life. W
Which watches ALL FOUR LEVELS.
DQ?
Then we are all, metaphysically, the same undefinable 'thing'.
