MD What comes after intellect?

Pirsigers:

Bodvar said, "If you accept the MOQ's asioms this paradox is removed.
Words, concepts, language is no subjective mindish quasi-reality but
patterns of one static level."

I think he's quite right in asserting that the MOQ rescues language from
certain kinds of criticism, like the charges that the meaning of words
are "merely subjective" or that they are nothing more than social
instruments. Don't get me wrong, discussing the limitations of language
is an important part of philosophy, but the MOQ addresses this pretty
well too. I think Pirsig's way of tracing words back through time is
very effective.

And that sort of brings me to the point. Words and their meaning change
through time. There is no doubt that language evolves just like
everything else. I think we all agree that it comes from the social
level and serves it well. And pretty safe to say that language is often
elevated to serve as an intellectual tool. Words and language can even
become art in the right hands. But I think its more than that. I think
language is very much involved in what will come after the intellect.

There is no reason to think another static level is impossible. Why
shouldn't there be something beyond the intellectual level? As a
cautionary note I should add that the intellectual level seems awfully
immature itself and so what ever level grows out of it must be a long
way off. But then again, who knows about the velocity of evolution?

IMAGINE A NEW LEVEL
It seems to me that the next one is foreshadowed by the saints, sages
and scientific geniuses. They give hints about the future development of
humanity in general, don't you think? They respond to Dynamic Quality
and latch onto values that will later be adopted in great numbers.
Maybe. Sometimes. We will see what they saw only when we're ready. They
master the intellectual level in their own way, transcend it, and become
part of the creative force of Dynamic evolution by virtue of that
talent. They lead the way. They're out in front at the cutting edge of
reality, getting cut to shreds by that edge so the whole she-bang can
grow and move forward. You gotta love those guys.

I think language will help take us down the trails they blazed and will
be a part of the formation of the next level. I suppose language will be
used in a more creative, imaginative, and poetic way. Or maybe it'll be
combined with math and geometry. In any case, I don't see how evolution
can continue without an equally progressive ability to convey meaning.
