I've attacked for my comparison between RMP and other philosophers... I just
meant that RMP wrote a metaphysics book. Obviously he is different from the
other!
I've been shocked by the answers to the Roger questions: I thought only
"yes, created" was the only possible couple of answers. I didn't count
exactly the result of those questions, so I don't know if there's a
"winner". However, no problem, it means we have different opinions, and it's
good. But I hope we don't create a gulf between two different point of view.
I remember to all we are on the same side!
I answered "Yes, Created", and I 've been accused of solipsism. WHY? I'm not
saying that mind creates Reality. Mind creates just a model of Reality, is
this Solipsism?. The MOQ, the four levels, the static patterns are a
wonderful model of Reality. Maybe the closer to Reality, up to now. MOQ is
founded on GOOD, everything is Value. This is the force of MOQ!
The only fact we don't agree proves this: our different opinion are about
the same book, the same words. Human mind is searching for an interpretation
of Reality, and we found in MOQ a good interpretation. But please, never say
the one on the other side did not understand the Quality Idea... it's not
nice.
Bo, you wrote you found in me an ally, 'cause I wrote that MOQ fights SOM.
But this doesn't mean that they are on different levels: it's like to say
that the fight between Romans and Greeks was between two different levels!!!
The "horizontal" fight between same-level patterns is the usual fight. The
"Vertical" fight between the levels is maybe more important, but not the
only one.
I want to end searching a possible third way , as Roger also would like.
I think you agree that Quality is undefinable. MOQ is not Quality itself, I
guess. By saying MOQ is something beyond SOM, are you saying we are already
on a fifth level pattern? Or MOQ is Quality itself?
mmmmmm.......
Try this: DNA is a first level pattern and made possible the second level
patterns.
Language seems to be a third level pattern making possible the fourth level
patterns.
MAYBE MOQ is a fourth level pattern that will make possible the birth of
fifth level patterns. But it is however an intPoV.
